Receive 15% off your ice rink tickets when you dine out during Ballarat Winter Festival.  

Simply collect a discount code from any participating Ballarat hospitality or tourism business when you spend $25 or more to receive 15% off your ice rink tickets.

Discount Period 

• Discount redeemable online from 12am (AEST) Monday 22 June 2026  

• Discount offer ends at 8:00pm (AEST) on Sunday 19 July 2026 

Discount  

• Spend $25 (including GST) or more at any participating Ballarat hospitality or tourism business to receive an ice rink discount code.  

• Discount code redeemable when purchasing tickets online. A physical discount card collected from the participating venue when spending $25 or more must be presented as proof of purchase when attending your skating session.    

• Discount code redeemable at the ice rink for discount on tickets that have been purchased at the venue. A physical discount card collected from the participating venue when spending $25 or more must be presented as proof of purchase when attending your skating session. Subject to ticket availability.  

• Where proof of purchase in the form of a physical discount card is not provided, the 15% discount becomes invalid. An additional 15% of the pre-purchased ticket price must be paid in venue. Applicable to discount codes redeemed in venue and online.  

Eligibility 

• Discount redeemable at participating venues only. A list of participating venues is listed on the Ballarat Winter Festival website for the duration of the discount period. 

• Purchase to the minimum value of $25 must be made between 12:01am on Monday 22 June 2026 and 11:59pm Sunday 19 July 2026, and proof of purchase in the form of a discount card must be retained and presented as proof of purchase. This discount card is single use only. Once presented, the discount card will be collected by ice rink staff.   

• Where a physical discount code is not available, a receipt to the minimum value of $25 will be accepted when purchasing tickets at the ice rink (subject to availability). This receipt must be from a participating venue. A 15% discount will not be available online without a discount code.  

• Ballarat hospitality or tourism business' means a business located within the City of Ballarat municipal area and ordinarily trading in food, drink, hospitality, entertainment and/or tourist attraction. City of Ballarat may in its absolute discretion determine whether a business is considered a 'Ballarat hospitality or tourism business' for the purpose of this discount offer.  

• The City of Ballarat reserves the right, at any time, to verify the eligibility of a promotion participant and to disqualify any participant that does not meet the Eligibility Criteria. 

• City of Ballarat staff and Councillors, and their immediate family are not eligible to redeem this offer. 

Limitation of Liability 

• To the extent permitted by law, the City of Ballarat (and their respective officers, contractors, employees, agents and representatives) will not be liable for any personal injury, loss (including loss of opportunity), damage (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or consequential loss), cost, expense or claim arising from or in relation to the discount promotion.  

Variation to Offer  

• The City of Ballarat may in its absolute discretion, but subject to State and Territory laws, modify, suspend, cancel, recommence or extend this discount promotion as appropriate if: 

• for any reason, this discount promotion is not capable of running as planned due to technical, hardware or software failures or interferences, or changes to third party sites or platforms, which affect the administration, operation, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion; the level of interest or participation in the promotion is insufficient or there has been some delay in commencing the promotion.
