Harry Potter Treasure Hunt

These school holidays Collins Booksellers on Lydiard will transform into a magical world inspired by the enchanting realm of Harry Potter.

It’s time for the July-Wizard Tournament (it’s like the Triwizard Tournament but with less dragons!). All witches, wizards and muggles – of all ages – are invited to attempt our Hogwarts inspired treasure hunt.

Bring your wands (pencils), your magic spells (your mind) and be ready to search throughout Hogwarts (Collins Booksellers on Lydiard) for the tournament clues. If you are brave enough to finish the tournament, you can enter the draw to win some wonderful prizes.

There will be two different treasure hunts – one for younger children (or Harry Potter novices) and one for Harry Potter lovers. These can take you anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour to complete – depending on how quickly you move through the questions or how distracted you get in our beautiful store.

There is no need to book in – just pop in anytime during our opening hours and enjoy the challenge.

While you are in Lydiard St, make sure you visit The George for some witch and wizard inspired brews – maybe a glass of Butter Brew may be waiting for you!
